As promised, the high volume leg sculpting workout that kicked off my Wednesday morning:
|Calf Raises||3 x 20|
|Leg Extensions||3 x 20|
|Lying Hamstring Curls||3 x 20|
|Hip Adductor||3 x 20|
|Hip Abductor||3 x 20|
|Walking Lunges (kettlebells)||3 x 20|
For each exercise, choose a weight that you are comfortable working with. High volume workouts are not designed for heavy lifting. You want to make sure you are working with a weight that still allows you hit complete reps with good technique but obviously, don’t make it too easy or you will only be cheating yourself out of juicy leg gains.
Quick Tip: If you aren’t sure how much weight to use, a good way to figure it out is to start light and increase the weight each set. You will soon see what is too easy, too difficult and just right.
